Woke up with a swelling at side of tooth Dr. Atabakhsh treated four months ago. Having to catch a plane this morning for a one week trip out of town, I called his office and asked him to call in antibiotics so I can start taking it before I return to see him next week. He said he has to see me first. I asked if I can shot a photo of the swelling by the tooth and sent him. Still no! Healthcare providers should not call in prescriptions without seen their patients. But I have been seen by him. And this is not for narcotic pain relievers which could be abused. He rather have me in swelling during my trip and risk my infection getting worse. If his motive is to avoid the consequence that after the swelling is gone I may not go to see him, then he places his financial gain above his patients' health. I'd rather he is not that kind of doctor. But the inflexibility of dealing with emergencies makes me not to recommending him. I don't blame him for a possible treatment failure, for it can happen to any doctors. I give him one star because of his dealing with emergencies.

Unbelievable experience from the phone when they got me in for an emergency session to every staff member being kind, patient and attentive to my nerves and needs. They explained everything so well and the doctor was an absolute expert who did remarkable work and accommodated my needs and fears of pain. I did not feel any pain at all during the root canal because of his expertise and taking the time I needed to adjust to the numbing properly. Above and beyond and will never go anywhere else if I ever need future care. Can not thank you guys enough!!!! -Malka
